Hey all! About time I updated this, some new mixes from Nature One, also my guest mix for Q-Dance Radio and I put a back to back set of myself and Busho up too for you all to enjoy. Also updated the studio page with some new equipment and clips of forthcoming productions! Hope you all enjoy them. Growler - Control Freak

My collaboration with Ali Evans + Alex Roberts (a couple of old Uni mates who normally make House + Drum N Bass) as 'Growler', is out on 9th September on prestigious label Detox. As you can imagine this is quite an honour for the three of us. This is a bit more downtempo from my usual stuff, but diversity is the key and this has already received support, especially in Holland where Fausto played it on 'Fausto's Crossover' and Charly + Nazzz played it on their Fear FM show!

Other noteable names playing it are: Remo-Con, Proteus, Mark Sherry, Joe-E, DJ Thilo, Mr Spring [2FM], JP [HQ/Dance Valley] and more!

Dutch Interview - EssensIE / Partyflock

Have been interviewed by Dutch Magazine EssensIE (who also post their content on Partyflock, one of Holland's leading nightlife websites), for a wicked three page article in the 'Naaldscherp' section in their new Issue. Just have this scan at mo but will upload a PDF when I have one. Link is to the Partyflock interview. It's all in Dutch however so you might need Google translate!

Site Update

Hey all! Just updated the site with three new mixes (Volume 18, Live in Slovenia, and Live at Firewall), all for you to enjoy, also uploaded some new releases such as my Ed ET + DTR remix for Bionic, a demo version of the collaboration Myself + Mike Steventon have made and Busho's remix of Zulu Warrior which is a project for Hellhouse Recordings and their Donate For Japan appeal. Mixmag - Top 10

Did a top 10 for the UK's prestigious clubbing magazine 'Mixmag', here it is for you all to see. The south west really is rockin' at the moment with eight out of the ten tracks being from south west producers or on south west labels!

Have finished a couple new tracks which I will add here soon and am working for some Original tracks to take to Defqon 1 with me, also am working on collaborations with Hakka + Patho, a dutch duo and one of Australia's legends! More news soon and of course previews here when ready!

Nature One

Hi guys! Definitely looking forward to this summer, what with the lush sunshine, BBQs and much more, but also because I have been confirmed to play at this year's Nature One festival in Kastellaun for the Tunnel Records bunker. Really can't wait! That's on the 5th-7th August.

Slovenia Debut

Hey all, you can catch me playing at Revolution:HARD in Slovenia on May 7th, alongside DJ Dano - Really can't wait for this as I will be playing loads of dark techno and harder bits! Here is a pic of the flyer:

Sunbeam - Outside World Official Remix

I am absolutely buzzing today here at Louk HQ! After recently completing a remix of the legendary 'Outside World' by Sunbeam (on Suck Me Plasma records for all the trainspotters out there!), to play in my DJ Set for Uprising @ O2 Academy Sheffield, I decided to contact the original label and they have agreed to license the track to Compulzion and let me release my remix and the original! This is even better news as now it means Jake Nicholls and Andy Freestyle can provide a remix as well!

Already the support on the remix has been huge with Kutski giving it two Radio 1 plays (check it out here) and Fausto playing it as tune of the week on his Q-Dance Radio show. Support has also come from: Kevin Energy, Proteus, Nomad, SHOCK:FORCE, E-Quake (Let The Bass Kick), Nick The Kid, Busho

Release is coming in the late summer on 12" on Compulzion.

Defqon 1 Booking

Yo! Just a heads up to let you know that I am playing the Orange arena of Q-Dance's Defqon 1 festival this year (25th June), it'll be nice to return to the event after my last gig there in 2009. Here is the lineup for the arena I am in

Louk - Zulu Warrior

My new track 'Zulu Warrior' is coming out on Busho's Digitally Infected record label on 15th April. Already the DJ Support for this has been huge with Fausto making it tune of the week on his Q-Dance Radio Show and Mark EG making it tune of the week in Tillate Magazine. The legend that is Proteus also put it in his top 10 for the month.
